Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the effective running of the fleet within the region by ensuring the maximum number of serviced and reliable vehicles is available for deployment. The incumbent is also responsible for analysing all available fleet information to ensure optimal utilization of vehicles and report back to business Job Responsibilities: Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure prompt attention to company requirements Assist Management to plan for the effective usage and control of vehicles under their supervision Endeavour to reduce Motor Vehicle Accidents within the Region Maintain records and statistics to provide data for proactive and reactive measures and planning Authorize the procurement and cancellation of fuel cards Control and direct the activities of Local Fleet Department concerning requirements, performance and trend activities, guidelines and deadlines of and reporting of Local Fleet Co-ordinators and Administrators Monitor and provide feedback to managers regarding fuel consumption Job Requirements: Stakeholder management People Management experience with a proven track record of employee engagement and development Experience in fleet essential 5 years’ experience at Middle Management level Relevant Degree or three year diploma – Fleet or Transport Management
