Job Description: Assist and support Operational Risk Management Team in the maintenance, implementation, change management, monitoring, support and reporting operational risk management framework, policies, and standards to promote an enabling risk culture to support the bank’s risk strategies. Job Responsibilities: Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as external regulations by participating in risk assurance activities Understand and document business processes, workflows and maintain risk profile for assigned areas Foster a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement by conducting research, development and performing environmental scanning, Support the design and implementation of new controls or enhancements to existing controls, champion digitisation solutions, participate in system testing, documenting testing and system requirement, Perform data analysis, gap analysis to compare current state against desired state and make recommendations for improvement Collaborate with Risk Management colleagues process owners and other key internal and external stakeholder on operational risk matters. Job Requirements: Interacting with various levels of management Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees 3-5 years working experience as an Operational Risk Analyst involved in the development of a Risk Policy Framework, training, and development - Systems and Risk Methodologies, compliance & governance, reporting, stakeholder management and reporting within the Banking/Financial Services Industries BCom in Risk Management, Finance, Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing, or Information Systems
