Job Description: The successful candidate will be required to do shift cover duties and work overtime (in accordance with legislation). Active participation in Behaviour Based Safety, IMS inspections and SHE representative roles. Physically monitor production processes. Job Responsibilities: Report process deviations to the Foreman. Compile relevant area shift report during and before end of shift. Report incidents and near misses. Report all risk behaviours and unsafe conditions to Foreman/Line Manager. Adhere and apply standard operating procedures and work instructions. Conduct basic fault finding and possible solutions. Assist service provider with cleaning activities on the plant. Attend shift SHE safety meetings. Job Requirements: NQF level 2 Chemical Operations Occupational. Grade 12 or N3 with English, Maths and Science. Experience in a production environment (Must) Experience within a petro-chemical / chemical industry will be an advantage Related exposure and experience in the Steam Stations environment (Must)
