Job Description: The Remuneration Consultant: Governance is responsible for supporting the implementation of remuneration frameworks, processes and practices that can be implemented across the Old Mutual Group. Job Responsibilities: Conduct specific research and benchmarking to inform policy and reporting shifts. Keeps abreast of King, Companies Act and Prudential Authority change and requirement that impact policy amendments and changes. Keeps a central repository of all remuneration policies, guidelines as well as their version control. Sets up and maintains the agendas for all Group Remuneration Committee meeting in accordance with the annual workplan, and various other remuneration activities for the year. Ensures that Group Remuneration policy and Group HC Risk policy is kept current and updated on an annual basis and disclosed in formats required for annual shareholder and remuneration reporting. Responsible for execution of the annual attestation on the Group HC Risk policy. Job Requirements: Demonstrated understanding of local and international best practices. Global Remuneration Professional (GRP). Experienced specialist with at least 2-3 years’ total remuneration experience with demonstrated knowledge of policies, and governance. SARA Accreditation as a Remuneration Analyst or Specialist. Listed company experience, preferable in Financial Services Demonstrated competence in project management. B. Comm or LLB or similar degree
