Job Description: Responsible for designing and coding new systems and changes to existing systems and is responsible for the design of relevant databases. Incumbent carries out systems analyses, design, coding, program debugging, system testing, security assessments, performance assessments and user interfaces. Job Responsibilities: Maintain existing programmes according to change requests Provide recommendations and estimated cost/effort requirements for system changes Design Web Interfaces (graphic design) if applicable Produce appropriate software programs that satisfy the specifications Design prototypes for change requests Analysis of change requests received Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in Mainframe Software Developement MQ, SQL, JCL, and VSAM Assembler and Cobol ROSCOE, TSO, Dumpmaster, SmartTest etc. Mainframe Development Environemnt Previous working experience in Financial Services is recommended
