Job Description: The Transmission Specialist will lead the planning, design and implementation of Core, Aggregation and Access networks based on multiple vendor fibre equipment (SDH, DWDM, PDH, OTN, ROADM, FOADM etc.). Job Responsibilities: Be able to work with multivendor networks Lead and drive customer and technical engagements pertaining IP Networking Work with various Subject Matter Experts in developing and implementing best of breed solutions Design and implement robust solutions for Altron Nexus customers, taking design best practice frameworks into consideration Be familiar with the latest technology evolution in IP networking domain Job Requirements: Design and/or support of MPLS, WDM, SDH, PDH and IP networks Extensive knowledge in wireless transmission networks Strong knowledge of OTN (DWDM) concepts University Degree in Electrical Engineering, B. Tech or Engineering Diploma Knowledge of the active fibre technology landscape At least 4 years’ experience is required in transmission with an emphasis on active fibre equipment i.e. (SDH, DWDM, OTN etc.)
