Job Description: To enhance the alignment of the SARS strategic intent by overseeing the day to day running of Branch Operations to meet the expectations of clients, in service delivery. However, the Branch Manager should ensure that all daily activities are always in line with the organisation’s strategic objectives. Job Responsibilities: Manage a work function or unit by focusing on the delivery and achievement of set objectives within specified time frames, costs and standards. Deploy resources appropriately and anticipate and resolve problems to ensure that tactical targets are achieved within agreed deadlines & standards. Implement risk management, governance and compliance policy and processes to identify and manage governance and risk exposure. Build strong relationships through providing direction and leadership to others and expressing positive expectations. Apply the necessary discretion and judgment in making decisions and overcoming obstacles in order to attain set goals and objectives. Link and communicate unit's objectives back to mandate, schedule and prioritise activities and allocate work to meet identified work outputs. Job Requirements: Relevant Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) (Accounting and or Management) AND 8-10 years' experience in a similar environment (Customer Service / Branch Operations) (Branch Operations), of which 3-4 years at junior management level.
