Job Description: The purpose of the Risk Engineer role is to provide operational support on risk engineering related initiatives and projects with the aim of managing loss control, mitigating risk, improving safety and reducing claims. Job Responsibilities: Support in the analysis and assessment of risks and trends across the Group and identify suitable methodologies, processes or practices to mitigate any potential risks. Execute administrative functions including data capturing, processing and verification of designs, reports and other deliverables. Determine compliance requirements and implement monitoring processes. Prepare and document project proposals, standard operating procedures, policies and budgets. Perform risk assessments by conducting comprehensive site visits. Job Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Risk Management or a related technical field - (preferred) +2 years in a Risk Engineer capacity or similar role, assessing risk, monitoring compliance and executing projects to manage loss control and mitigate risk in a regulatory, building control, health and safety or risk management environment – (desirable). Understanding of and exposure to project management methodologies and practices - (desirable). Experience in a retail, FMCG or engineering environment – (desirable). Proficiency in MS Office with an intermediate skill level in Excel, Word and PPT – (essential).
