Job Description: Owner and Lead for Platforms & Infrastructure Maintenance and Support initiatives. This includes provisioning, configuration, change control, and policies defined for data platforms including the data warehouses, lakes, long term storage and archives. The lead for platforms establishes and enforces governance and policies across data services and platforms Job Responsibilities: Continuous evaluation of functionality of infrastructure and services Perform audits on environment, processes and procedures with Internal Audit and/or Auditing company appointed and implements or ensures recommendations are implemented within business unit Schedules upgrades and maintenance Implement and manage security or integrity and backup/recovery procedures. Select and procure/subscribe/provision appropriate hardware and software (on prem and cloud) Test and modify systems and processes to ensure that they operate optimally Job Requirements: Experience in developing AWS data lakes, data warehouses and data marts Experience of developing solutions in the cloud Related Technical certifications Experience working in a high availability DataOps environment Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar fields like Information Systems, Big Data, etc. Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role
